Yoga Postcard Series underway

I've been contracted to produce 24 images for a yoga + smart snacking initiative in a Providence middle school. Basically, hundreds of kids will receive free yoga classes, a "bark" snack, and one of my postcards to take home and reinforce the message of mindful eating and physical activity. So that's where my art is focused for the next few months! Updates as they are edited and sent over to the printer. =)

Inspirations

I've been finding a lot of inspiration in the yoga studio I work for lately: I just did a mandala, loosely translated as "circle" in Sanskrit: in this case, an attempt at a studio-specific design with perfectly symmetrical patterns. Since my scanner is, once again, acting stupid, I don't have it in the best quality, but I'm proud of it, so I will share. 
I have the possibility, also, that should a particular grant come in, I will be doing custom illustrated postcards of yoga postures, so if that happens, I will also share in the New Year.

Scanner Issue Resolved - Pictures Away!

What do you do when your shiny new MacBook won't recognize your 11x17 scanner software? Use an old, gigantic gaming PC and get it done.
Short-term solution, but worth it for now! Love my new pics, and love to share them finally.
